I have just spent the last 3 hours looking at project specifications, SJI and AISC manuals and can NOT find where allowable tolerance for an out of plumb steel joist or steel truss is listed. I know it must be staring me in the face but I can't find it. Anybody out there that can point me to the appropriate reference?

Specs and shop drawings both refer to AISC but don't specify which AISC publication. I suspect its in "Code of Standard Practice for Steel Buildings and Bridges" but I can't seem to put my finger on it.

Thanks.

The Steel Joist Institute sells the following, that should include the erection tolerances.
