Plotting Excel Spreadsheet in R14 1

Once I successfully link (OLE) an Excel spreadsheet (Excel97 SR-2) to my AutoCAD R14 drawing, I have problems with the output. First, It takes a very long time to regenerating the drawing before plotting. Next, once plotted, the spreadsheet does not appear on the drawing. However, once I execute a “Print Preview”, the sheet appears on the drawing. Any thoughts?

It's been a while since I used R14, but if I remember
correctly, to plot OLE objects you must use a windows print drive instead of the acad driver.
