how would i change the plotting area dimensions to print 8.5x11 instead of 7.5x10.83? Any help is appreciated

It will depend on your printer. Some must have a margin so they can "grip" the paper per se. Some printers allow you to set the margins to 0 in the plottermanager setup. Our B-size laser printer must have margins for A and B size prints.

Like BorgUnit has stated ... some "LASER" printers allow you set the margins to ZERO either at the printer itself OR at the "PRINT SERVER".
But most IT groups are "against" this "because" you effect word documents and their margins.

You could always adjust your "A" size border to compensate for this offset by the printer. [sadeyes]
It's what we did here for our printers. [sadeyes]
