It is based on the materials to be welded, welding position and progression, welding procedure and bead and side wall tie in appearance for the most part. A combination of stringer and weave beading is generally used to weld steels with weaving widths limited. AS previously stated obtain copies of the AWS Welding Handbooks and read them to get a better understanding of welding processes and governing welding parameters.
