We use A-B as well as omron PLCs in our equipment, all with their respective MMIs. Is anyone aware of any "after market" MMI manufacturers? hopefully less expensive than Omron or AB?

Thanks is advance.

panelmate series, maple systems, ctc, there are alot out there. some are good and some you get what you pay for.

Thanks ruhba.

Agreed on the issue of cost vs. reliability. Any thoughts on which (oem) to consider and which not to consider? We have cases where an aplhanumeric display is sufficient and others where graphics are a necessity.

One of the best value choises is Aromat GT touchscreens series.
They support Aromat, Allen Bradley, Mitsubishi, Omron and half-dozen other PLCs.

I would second the suggestion to look at Automation direct. The EZ-text, EZpanel, and others are great and you can use them with AB, Siemans and others!
