PLC 5/20 Program Copy

I need to go to a clients site and copy a program to reverse engineer and create a shutdown key. Can I take a copy of the program while the processor is running without interupting it?

Yes if the program is not password protected.

Yes, however unless you have original program you will not get any comments or descriptions from an upload.

yea on plc5 if its password protected just type in ABUNLOCK works everytime
