Having problems in modelling an experimental project in plaxis 3d, would be thankful if someone who has knowledge in this field contact me so I can ask them My questions, it's about how accurate my modelling is

My experience with Plaxis is limited to 2D and it has been many years since I have used Plaxis, but from what I remember, Plaxis is fairly accurate when it comes to loads on support of excavation elements, but less so when modeling deflections. I would also try contacting technical support at Plaxis for more detailed answers.

hhm Eric, Plaxis has been proven to be extremely accurate (in geotechnical terms) for modelling most things! There has been lost of case studies of predicted movement vs monitored movement , which have shown very good agreement.

I am not sure what would be more accurate, possibly discrete element modelling....
