Dear sirs,

a part of my modelling work is a plate (floor)-column system using Plaxis 3D foundation. I need to model the column using beam element.
The problem is, in making the geometry of the column, the beam element can only be done horizontally (in plaxis) and not vertically (e.g. in workplanes). In fact I require a vertical beam in which its axial force (1 in local axes) is applied vertically. Can I use pile instead, but having beam material properties.
I would be grateful if anyone could solve my problem.

Kind Regards
