The design stage of a plastic part is crucial to the success of molding process and right choices made during this stage can inevitably lead to improved part quality and process capability.

Process capability, a long-term performance measure of the molding process determines the confidence of the molder and ensures that molded parts consistently meet the design requirements and customer expectations.

In injection molding process, a molding engineer considers various molding parameters such as time, temperature, speed and pressure on the molding machine. The webinar will focus on how the decisions made during the plastic part design stage can affect the decisions on molding parameter specifications and in turn impact the overall process capability.

Attend the webinar by Suhas Kulkarni, the author of the bestselling book ‘Robust Process Development and Scientific Molding’, who will cover the basics of injection molding and how to develop a robust process and whys of the process.
