I see you have a sense of humor Bill, Very Good. I am looking to clamp a variety of differant products of variing sizes into a fixture/clamp for mounting onto tooling plate. Hopefully i can find a fixture/clamp with a quick release or easily disenganed mechansim so it can dismount from the tooling plate and accept the next product. I know its vague...But i saw something a while back that was perfect but now i can find it. The thing i was looking at previous was for indexing conveyors. It was a clamp to mount to a cleat on the conveyor. Maybe somebody can help.

Do you want to build it yourself or buy it.
One approach is a tooling plate with dowel holes and tapped holes and utilize dowel pins as locators and pads to raise the part off the plate. You could use std toe clamps or or edge clamps.
Precision vises are also an option and I have used quick change vise jaws on a Kurt Vise. I've used multiple vises on long shafts.
