Hello colleagues,

i have been working with an existing VS6 pump that is equipped with a plan 13, however it was noticed that the seal is leaking -Crude oil- as it contains solids.
i've read something about what is so called a discharge bleed bushing, but could not really digest it as the information with a little bit vague. also API682 states that sometimes the bleed bushing has to be used instead of plan 13 when using plan 32(external source, which is not available at site) or when using plan 31 (which is not accepted due to cyclone clogging).

So it will be appreciated if anyone could help with some detailed information about the bleed bushing.

thanks in advance
