I'm trying to place 'gap' symbols on dimensions created in Drafting (Add to drafting object).
UG seems to have a mind of its own and decides for itself where it wants to place the symbol. When I try and move it using Edit > Component > Move, it is still fussy about where it is put.
Is there any way of over-riding UG on this and placing the gap exactly where I want it? Or do I have to accept what UG gives me?
UG help files have the following to say:
The symbol is added to the chosen component as follows:
The Anchor Point of the symbol is placed in the component nearest the point you specify.
The Orientation Point is aligned with the component.
The component is trimmed to the symbol length (length here refers to the distance between anchor point and orientation point).
Is this relevant?
Thanks in advance
Fred
