Hi all,

A friend requires the following information for self development. As a result, He requires as much information as he can possibly get on the following subjects (online materials or links would also be appreciated):

1. Piping design fundamentals and technics
2. Preparation of material specification and data sheets
3. Development of Equipments and Piping layouts
4. Preparation of M.T.O from isometrics
5. Basic part of stress analysis to route lines

Also classic books are advertisd on the site and these can be purchased.

Another tip. Find a retired piping boilermaker or fitter and pick their brains. Approach any contractor in your area , explain what you want ask for some contacts. then you can throw a BarBQ or buy the guys a drink and you will learn very quickly.

Just because you retire it doesnt mean you dont want to share with younger people. Beware of the crusty old men syndrome afflicted ones.
