Piping Class C12A

For certain project we don't have piping classes, but got a temperature, pressure and fluid properties. How can we built class in order to have all piping components (fittings, valves etc.) to satisfy certain class eg. C12A. Is there standard (nomenclature for piping classes)

No.

Each contractor has their own piping class system.

Hence C12A as a piping class means something to you but nothing to me (google thinks it's some kind of high grade chrome pipe).

But maybe I've misunderstood your post which is a bit light on details and explanation.

IMO, the facilities was built and operated, but the engineering doc was either misplaced or lost through the years. In my work place, we verified these piping systems and record the material equivalent to the current Specs, as required by PSM.

Where a client/contractor does not have their own piping classes for whatever reason a way forward may be to subscribe to Process Industries Practices (PIP) who have generic Classes and Standards that can be used but it seems to me firstly you need somebody experienced with material selection for your particular fluid, corrosion rates, design life etc etc.
