Could someone please recommend modifications/reinforcements that could be made to a pipeline to reduce its vibration? Installing a pulsation dampener is not an option that the customer is willing to pursue. Currently, the vane pump sits on a solid base as recommended by the manufacturer and flex couplings have been installed in the line to correct for any misalignment. The frequency of pulsations is 80Hz, the fluid flow rate is 375 gpm and the operating pressure is 120 psi.Thank you!

your customer appears to have ruled out all likely options, but when the failures start, and they get tired of repairs and risks, they seak proper recourse

The customer can want whatever they like, but they NEED a pulsation dampener. It can be as simple as a tee with a piece of capped pipe filled with air or another gas, or as complicated as a device with a bladder or bellows and a gas pad or spring on the back side.
