Inspection types and frequency vary considerably depending on the fluid you have in your pipeline and the risk level.
Many operating companies work on an initial frequency of 7 to 10 years and then adjust it when the results come back.

When conducting in-line inspections of pipelines required by this part, an operator must comply with API STD 1163, ANSI/ASNT ILI-PQ, and NACE SP0102, (incorporated by reference, see § 192.7). Assessments may be conducted using tethered or remotely controlled tools, not explicitly discussed in NACE SP0102, provided they comply with those sections of NACE SP0102 that are applicable.

We have cross country gas lines and water lines.
Currently there is no inspection regime being followed for these lines.
The purpose of the question is to get knowledge about minimum requirements mentioned in different codes and then align our inspection regime accordingly.
