I have been given a 350 ft-lb moment on a pipe support that is said to be acting at the end of the pipe support, 9" off the vessel shell. I need the moment at the vessel shell. I am unfortunately drawing a blank with my memory of "Strengths". How do I calculate the resulting moment at the base of the pipe support.

In the absence of any other loads, it's the same 350 ft-lb acting at the base of the pipe support.
Regards,
John
