We currently have the discharge piping of our silicone system as 1/2" Sch 40 SS. The design flowrate is 0.8 GPH. Would there be any reason to decrease this pipe size to a smaller size (1/4")? It would add pressure drop and fill the system sooner when its drained. Any other advantages?

Thanks.
