what is the k resistance coefficient factor for 6 inch cross tee fitting??

tnx

i cant find it sir,.

I think there have actually been two different (perhaps understandably) "K sub L" minor loss coefficients put forth for a "Cross". One is for "Line flow" and one for "Branch flow" through the cross (where the flow must change direction). Haestad/Bentley's "Advanced Water Distribution Modeling..." reference puts thos coefficients at 0.5 and 0.75 respectively. That being said, if you took the previous advice I don't think you'd be far off from a practical standpoint!

Click the link, the tee is shown on the 2nd page.

what is d difference between flow tru branch and flow tru run???

It is showing you that the head loss is greater when the flow turns through the tee (branch) than when the flow go straight through the tee (run).

i see.. tnx a alot sir bimr
