I need to lock a splined hub , over a shaft.
I think on a cyl pin
The pin hole will be made after assembly by EDM wire.

The shaft is 13 mm dia , torque is 650 Nm , [480 pound foot]
it is torsion test machine , rotating speed is very low , it rotate from +20 to -20 degree in about one minute.

The splined hub could be up to 50 mm length.
Shaft material aisi 1045 carburized 06 to 0.8 mm + hard + temp to HRc 50 54 surface hardeness, it is grinded to 32 micro inch.

Splined hub is made from tool steel 55 to 60 HRc .Internal dia as from EDM wire machine.

Thanks in advance,

Purdal,
Why not use a setscrew?
The spline takes up the torque.
All you need the setcrew for is
to lock it place to keep it in
alignment.
