Pilotless aircraft

I am interested in developing pilotless aircraft for small (&lt;50kg) instrument/surveillance package or delivering items at a distance. Familiar with the experimental aircraft scene and computers, able to program. Are there active development projects in this area? <br>

The aircraft, Outrider, was developed for military use. It is capable of loitering for several hours, uses a gasoline powerplant and contains numerous sensors for survellance operations.<br>
