Hello,

I was just asked a question about indicator colors and if there is some industrial standards that says what a color represents. It has been my experience RED means the equipment is faulted or in alarm status, Amber means Warning and Green All is good. However, there are a few more colors to choose from when it comes to selecting pilot lights and beacons. I did some searching on the WEB and to no avail came up empty handed. Then I found this Forum and I thought maybe someone in this community could help me out.

Busbar,

Thanks a million. I should have searched a little harder and found those threads. I knew this topic had been discussed at some point in time. I found the discussion informative and a bit humorous (LAVA lamps), that's great.
I guess I came to the right spot.

Thanks again,

PNeill
