Pick Front AND Box/Circle Select

I notice that when "pick front" nodes is enabled, it does not work when we box or circle select. I know from my reading, that this is the intended behavior of Femap. Is there any plan to offer more advance section techniques such as front picking circle? Using layers/groups "around plane" is a workaround, but requires many mouse clicks that seem unnecessary. It seems like Femap has all of the algorithms necessary to front-circle select, it just needs implementation.

Any tips or tricks are appreciated.
