Hi,

Can someone please assist me. I am looking at a 2phase-earth fault. Is it correct that the Voltage sequences for this fault should be V1+V2-V0=0

Thanks

I think you should get the result

V1 = V2 = V0 = Va/3

for a double line-to-ground fault.

As magoo2 already pointed out.

If you want help on the proofs you can try looking at the book symmetrical components (1933 by Westinghouse engineers C.F. Wagner and R.D. Evans), you can find it on scribd.

Blackburn also has a Symmetrical Components book and there's a fair amount of symmetrical components in Anderson's Analysis of Faulted Power Systems.
