PEX Cross-linked polyethelene pipe

Hello:

I'm looking some input about PEX pipes. I would like to know its performance compared to traditional PVC pipes in Residential Buildings.

For residential we use Plex in place of copper water supply lines. For the drainage we still use PVC.
