I'm wondering if anyone knows how to make a 160 Gbit/s pulse train using the hyperbolic secant pulse. it's been driving me mad.

cheers
Mark

Do you mean 160 Giga-pulses per second? More information please.

I mean 160 Gbit/s pulse stream of all 1's using the hyperbolic secant pulse.... this is very similar to the optical soliton used in the past.

I'm having difficulty making it periodic in matlab with an appropriate duty cycle.
