I need an equation to calculate the percent solids of weak black liquor in a paper mill. I have a micro motion flow meter installed that gives me the density and temperature. The percent solids is low (around 10 to 15 %).

One of the readings is:
temperature = 180.13F
density = 1.0490 g/ml

Have you done any testing to see what the density of the solid free black liquor and of the solids is? If the density is sufficiently consistent you can develop your own correlation based on the bulk density, corrected for temperature if needed, but if the individual densities change a lot, you'll have to look at another parameter to estimate the solids content. Unfortunately, I have no idea what that parameter is.

You need the density of the liquid and the density of the solids. You have the density of the mixture. The rest is just mathematics.
