PDMWorks web viewer

Hi, we have PDMWorks web viewer installed for the non SW users on our site. It houses SW files and legacy ACAD files. We are normally able to open the ACAD files from the web portal which executes our local acad application, however, now when we try, Internet Explorer opens another html window that is blank. I'm wondering if this is a mapping error or what?

Could be an IE setting?
I have not tried the PDMW web viewer.
