PC specs - Hard Drives SATA and IDE

I'm looking for the standards for the computer industry. Specifically mechanical specs for hard drives.

Anyone know who or where I can get my hand on this. I've googled it for a few hours with no luck.

Go to Maxtor/Seagate and look up the data sheets for the drives.
