All,
So I have a bolt pattern that I created using HoleWizard. I have multiple holes created by selecting the "Positions" tab in HW. When I bring this part into an assy and try to do a feature driven pattern, I want to skip an instance but it does not allow me to select any intances to skip... Has anyone else had this issue, or am I just missing something here??

The skip option only exists in Linear and Circular patterns. It cannot be used when specifying a feature pattern.

You can't specify instances to skip beforehand. However, after pattern creation you can delete whatever instances you want. If you do happen to edit the pattern later, "Instances to skip" will show up, and you can delete entries from that list to bring them back into the pattern.

OK, thought I'd give it a shot. Turns out you can specify instances to skip during creation in 2009 sp3.

Well, son of a gun! Has that option always been there? I must be loosing it. [sad]

I know it hasn't always been there, because I can remember banging my head against the wall just like bt above, and coming to the solution I posted. Who knows when I might have noticed the change if I hadn't tried it out again just to make sure.

The way I originally posted does still work, by the way.
