I want to pattern an extruded hole along a curve so that my arc length is constant between each hole, but I want to do it in such a way that the extruded hole stays normal to a certain plane. Is this even possible to do with the pattern feature?

Thank you. That is exactly what I was looking for. I'm still having trouble trying to accomplish what I set out to do though. I want to create holes in a 2:1 head and I want to pattern these holes in such a way that the arc length between the center of each hole is the same both radially and circumstantially. I also want all the holes to be normal to the same plane. Any thoughts on how I might accomplish this?

I actually think I have accomplished what i wanted using a fill pattern and constraining it to a surface.
