Patran crashes when starting to analyse

Hi

I have Patran 2013 and it all works fine until I initiate the analysis. When I click apply, the program closes and there aren't any files created, no .f06 or whatever. And the .bdf that it's created is empty. Any thoughts?

are you using Windows 8? I have seen this on Windows 8, and according to MSC, Patran is only certified on Windows 7.

HI,
I am having a similar problem with Patran 2013. After intial installation it was running fine . But after a day the problem appeared. I do all the modelling , B.C, Loading and then when i try to prepare the deck Patran shuts down.
I checked and the compatibility report says it runs with Win7 Compatiblity..So no issues on that.
Any help would be much appereciated.
