When working in an assembly if I create a section view, then go to edit a part in that assembly, and then go to edit a previously created feature in that part, the part I am editing will disappear during the editing of that feature. When I complete editing the part and hit the rebuild button, the part will reappear. Is there a way to keep the part being edited from hiding (disappearing) during that editing? This only seems to happen if I'm in a section view.

Thanks

I get that too. My workaround is to simply create a huge BOX-extrude-cut that serves as a temporary section view which in reality is just eliminating a ton of parts/features. This ensures none of my parts disappear with the section command.

I dont know why the parts/features disappear during section view but I have found it to be hit or miss, especially with imported surfaces.

If you click the view properties of the section there should be a tab showing objects hidden, you can add/remove from here.

You can do the same thing via the feature tree in the drawing. Click on the drawing view/section or whatever and select the parts you want to hide/show and select the appropriate selection in the right mouse button window.
