Has anyone else had an issue with parts moving in the assembly position when the Fix constraint is applied? Part is NOT designed in assembly context. There is no logical explanation (that I can see) for this to be happening.

My guess is that I'm just compiling a bug list for R19...

Thank you.

Thanks for chiming in, David. I forgot to mention, but I am also at Hot Fix 16.

That's a good solution, but I don't want to leave anything but fix constraints in the model. (standard practice for this company/program) Normally, on a product with fewer parts, or where more was at stake, I would constrain to wireframe - but it's not applicable here - hence my dilemma.

I'm thinking to just leave no constraint. In this case, no constraint isn't any worse than a fix constraint. [neutral]

very strange. I've seen some strange features in some parts as well. Every time I tried to double click on it, CATIA terminates. I have to make a new part after tried everyting... [cannon]

Maybe instead of Fix, try Fix Together to another part like the baseplate, or something else that won't move. Strike that, I just read that you only want to see Fix constraints. That is crazy. I haven't had to use R19 yet, but it's loaded for the right customer here.
