Parts list NX7.5

Is there a way to skip a single item number in the parts list ?
1,2,3,4,6,7, . . .

A couple drawing revisions ago item 5 was removed from the assembly and the item numbers were not reordered.
And that is the way the people from above want it to stay.
So how can I update a parts list with item 5 not accounted for ?

I think if you lock the row it keeps it from getting renumbered.

yes, that is what happened.
I needed to unlock them, because parts got added, and them I reordered them.
I think you by writing this you gave me an idea. With selective locking (and unlocking) and selective reordering I can make the item order the way they want it to be.
