Partial Fixity - ETABS

ETABS offers a partial fixity at nodes that is based on a spring constant. I don't want ETABS to analyze the building with some of these connections as fully fixed but the actual capacity of the connection which is only what is required due to the moment. ETABS uses a spring constant, but how am I to find this out if I can't model it correctly to begin with? Doesn't seem to make much sense.
Any help/guidance is appreciated.
