What is the difference between Suppress and Hide commands

Suppress takes that item out of the Bill of material (BOM) or Partslist. It also removes the mass properties, or weight from the assembly if that is important to you.


Hiding a part is what it states, it hides it. It still shows in your BOM or partslist and the mass property is still there. This is useful in perhaps seeing behind the hidden part.
