I designed a part with a lofted face, now I need to design a fixture to clamp the part against the lofted face. Is there a way to use the part loft to produce the fixture loft? The fixture is much bigger than the part, the lofted face must be identical in shape to the part but wider and longer.
Thanks

Sure.

You can insert the lofted part into an assembly and cut-to-shape the surface on your part using the Cavity feature (see Help files).

-OR-

You can insert the lofted part into an assembly, edit your fixture part, offset your lofted face at 0.000" or 0.005" or so. Go into your fixture part and use the offset face to Cut With Surface or Extrude Up To Surface (whichever way you have it).
