I've created a Part Model & added a Family Table consisting of 5 parts. All are variations of the 1 part. I have created an assembly, utilizing all 5 of the Part Models & have added 2 Helicoils & 2 Pins. Each of these extra parts are added only once (2 Helicoils & 2 Pins total). I created a family table which specifies each of the 5 Part Models (Y or N) & the additional hardware (2 of each / Y or N) but the end result does not achieve the assembled parts. What I get is just the single part of the original Part Model with no hardware. How do you take a Family Table used in a Part Model & add them to an Assembly Level Family Table and add more parts to achieve a full Assembly?

You don't need to add the family table part 5 times in your assembly. Put the generic in then add that component to your assembly family table. Then instead of putting y/n in for the instances, pick tools/replace using family table and populate the family table with all the instances.

I've learned a new & valuable trick. Thanks dgallup!!!

Sweet, that answers my question back on August 16 that didn't receive any responses. Another star for you.
