I would like to identify a surface mount part which appears to be a diode (case resembles DO 214) and it has a line (cathode) on one end. The case marking says D.43C

Help appreciated! I don't do this much.

Hi,

Google D.43C doesn't reveal much...so....

An obsolete part?....is it an old Harris Semiconductor part?...What's the date that this PCB was designed?
Who designed it?

Send the circuitry surrounding it to us via http:
(you can paste in the tinypic.com link here to your scanned drawing)

Hunt through your company's component stock room for the packet/reel/tube...see if its labelled on there.
