I did my own toolbox parts. In an assembly, some will show the toolbox fastener icon (a bolt) and other will show the regular yellow part icon. Where can I control that?

Which do you want; The yellow icon or the bolt icon?
If the yellow icon, see thread559-230547.

How did you create your own Toolbox parts?

[cheers]

I want the toolbox icon. i just created the parts and place then in a specific directory. some have the yellow icon and others have the toolbox fasteners icon. They both have nothing special.

If you change the IsFastener property in a part which has the yellow icon, does the icon change after saving the part?

[cheers]

some part without this property does have the factener icon. This is the strange part...

I ran the utilitiy sldsetdocprop.exe and it solved my problem but I still do not see a the isfastener propertie. So I am wondering what SW have done and where can I see the difference on the file.

I had no property in those tabs and the yellow icon. After using the utility, I got the fastener icon but NO property in those tabs. This is the strange part!

The utility do work but I couln'd not get the same result (fastener icon but no porperty) without this tool. And Waht did this tool did?
