Anybody know if there is a limitation to the number of rows one can put into a part family?

I am making a reuse library part from a part family table that has 5000+ rows. When I try to save the family (all rows at once) I get a COM error. I am attempting to brute force all 5000+ rows into the PF table by doing 1000 at a time but it is not the quickest/most efficient method and I'm still not sure if it will eventually let me jam all the rows in the spread sheet or not...

I really don't know what or even if there is an absolute maximum. The largest family table that I can recall creating had something around 400 rows and it worked fine.

Thanks John. Problem was resolved by switching from a 4-tier to a 2-tier Teamcenter version.
