HI

Yesterday I changed some parts' name (file name) which has linked draft. After I did that, part-draft linkage broke. That was a heartbreaking moment. Do I have to draw all over again If I want to change my file name? Or Is there any good way to control that happening.

You could use Revision Manager to update SE document.

You don't have to redraw it, please check this thread:

You could also search Revision Manager in this forum. There are other threads you may find interesting.

Hope this helps.

In the draft, click 'edit' > 'links' then you can update the source for the draft file, update the views, and you 'should' be back to where you were before!

You should ALWAYS use Revision Manager when renaming files linked to a draft, it will save you from a lot of future heartaches.

If you open the draft in Rev.Man. you get a list of all files linked to it and their path
