i'm trying to find the air change per hour (ACH) figure used for calculating the smoke fan capacity. It is code of practice for most design engineer to use 10 ACH for smoke case but iam not able to find this in any code (Ashrae-IBC-NFPA)....ONLY 6 ACH is mentioned in those codes for ventilation condition. So i hope if anyone can provide me with info where this figure (10 ACH FOR SMOKE CONDITION) come from? and whether if this figure is mentioned in any code?...thanks in advance
