I know Parker has Cad for most of their components on their website, but as far as I can tell I can’t download an entire cad library for a certain product.
Eg. I’m interested in the 82 series hose fittings, but I don’t really have the time to sit there and download them one by one.
I know some other Mould suppliers like DME, HASCO, Sheffer Cylinders etc… have their own software that you download that help you choose the appropriate item and it’s cad…and it’s all on your computer.
I must be looking in the wrong place. I’ll be supprised if a huge company like Parker doesn’t have a library you can download in one shot….
Can anyone help?

Parker's product lines are so extensive, and so many CAD packages are incompatible with each other and with different revisions of themselves, that even one product line's library might not fit on one, or a few, DVDs.

I get the impression that many outfits, especially distributors and larger manufacturers, are storing CAD models in just one or a few base/core formats, and converting them on the fly to whatever format you need, because they don't want to buy or maintain the server space required to store a native CAD file in every possible format for every part they sell, and they don't want to maintain multiple CAD seats to generate all those files.

But go ahead and ask your Parker rep; you might get lucky.

Thanks for the reply.

No luck...it's all online acording to the rep.

Guess i got to download them one by one...fun stuff.

Just another incentive for reducing your part number count.
Call it an opportunity.
