Parameter menus?

Is there any way to force a parameter to use a pre-assigned series of options that can be selected by the user? For example, if the parameter type is a Yes/No, when you add the parameter to be shown in the model tree, the drag down menu only shows a "Yes" and a "No" as potential selections. I would like to allow for only certain string options in a similar way. Any clues?

I am using Pro/E 2001 on MS Windows 2000.

There is if the parameter is in Intralink. Intralinbk can have tables associated to parameters. You have to set up the attributes in Intralionk to use a table when you create them as there is no way to change the type of attribute once defined.

Thanks for the reply. I am not using Intralink developing these parameters. I am not trying to change the type of parameter, I just want to pick predefined values from a list. For example:

Parameter name is Mode and type is string.

Mode can take one of the following values: "Roll", "Pitch", "Warp", & "Heave".

I would like the values to be pick-able from a menu in either the new Parameter Editor UI or from the model tree when that parameter name is displayed. If you have a parameter type of Yes/No, you get a pull-down with only the "Yes" & "No" options. I am looking to do the same thing with other parameter types.
