panelized non load bearing studs in plane continuity 1

Curious of others thoughts on this. Exterior cold form, panelized, come with exterior sheathing attached. The panels are not attached to each other in general, and at some locations they have a 14" gap between panels that will be closed with field installed sheathing.

To me I think track continuity would be good to have so panels will share load, but I can see the argument that it is not strictly required. What are others thoughts on this general arrangement?
 
If they're shear walls or the top track is acting as a collector for shear walls along the same wall line, then you need continuity. Whether that's accomplished through a track splice (track is the collector) or fastening the panels to a continuous steel angle or some other "external" collector, it doesn't really matter.

If they aren't shear walls, then I wouldn't worry too much about it.
 
Seconding phamENG's comment. If they're shear walls, splice your top track for continuity or attach to something that can act as a collector. If they are non-structural, not much to worry about. I like to specifically state that the ends of the tracks need to be anchored to structure so you aren't cantilevering the track.
