I’m looking to get painted some small plastic brief case shells. They are vac formed from 3mm ABS sheets.
I was looking into pre colored sheet material but because I want the wide range of colors/effects I’m going for a painting solution.

With painting I’m worried that they will scratch, flake and discolor under UV exposure. Will they? Are there any protective coating that will help?
Any advice much appreciated?
