If PAC is dosed into an open channel, what methods of recovery and treatment for re use are available?

Assuming that you are talking about powdered carbon, there are not many options available. The typical dosage is 20-200 mg/l of carbon. The most common scheme is removal with a clarifier.

A second alternative is probably the use of an in-vessel membrane reactor process where the membrane functions as a clarifier. However, I have not seen an application like this.
