Oxygen enriched cracker decoking

Decoking using a enriched mixture of air and steam is usual in ethylene plants. Mainly in naphta pyrolysis crackers. The ratio steam/air is increased in the decoking process due to control temperature inside the cracker. You can find some information with ABB Lummus or any other pyrolysis crackers suppliers.

I am familiar with decoking of light-feed crackers and thought the procedure was basically the same for heavy feed furnaces. Am I mistaken?
In my experience, the air/steam ratio is increased in steps up to some maximum, after the coke burn rate has decreased. Does "enhanced" oxygen refer only the to a higher air ratio, that is, not really enhanced?
